Bookman has launched the updated Curve bike lights
Bookman introduces fully updated versions of the Curve Front and Curve Rear – two of our most recognisable bike lights, now with more power, updated technology and USB-C charging.
Designed for everyday urban riding and commuting, the new Curve lights retain the compact shape, simple mounting and clean Scandinavian design of the originals, while bringing both lights up to date with improved performance and new features.
What’s new in Curve:
More power up front: Curve Front now delivers up to 300 lumens – a 36% increase in output – with a wide beam designed for urban riding and low-light conditions.
New COB technology at the rear: Curve Rear now uses a precision-curved COB LED that follows the full arch of the light, creating a distinctive continuous line of light and enhanced 180-degree visibility.
50 lumen rear output: The updated Curve Rear delivers up to 50 lumens, increasing visibility both from behind and from the sides.
USB-C charging: Both Front and Rear now feature USB-C charging, making it easier to use the same charger as the rest of your everyday devices.
Auto Battery Guard: Curve Rear features a new automatic battery-saving mode designed to help prevent unexpected power loss.
Improved mounting: The simple, tool-free silicone strap remains at the heart of the Curve design, while the Rear now also includes an extra strap for aero seatposts.
Plastic-free packaging: Both lights come in completely redesigned, plastic-free packaging.
The characteristic curved lens that gave Curve its name remains central to the design. On the Front, the lens and horizontal ridges create a broad beam with useful side visibility. On the Rear, the new COB technology takes advantage of the curved shape to spread light across the full arch.
Both lights are designed to be easy to attach, remove and operate, with the integrated clasp doubling as the power button. Curve Front offers up to 60 hours of runtime, while Curve Rear offers up to 20 hours.
